Advantage Multi Large Dogs

Advantage Multi Red is a broad-spectrum, monthly spot-on treatment for dogs. It helps kill and control fleas, gastrointestinal worms (hookworm, roundworm and whipworm), sarcoptic mange in canines. The topical treatment is also effective in controlling heartworm infection. Advantage Multi is also known as Advocate, which is one the most efficacious five-in-one parasite treatment for mixed parasitic infections. It is formulated in four different pack variants for various dog sizes. This Red colored pack of Advantage Multi 20.1-55 lbs for Large Dogs is specifically designed for puppies weighing 20.1 to 55 pounds (10-25 kg). It is available in 3, 6 and 12 monthly supply pack.

How To Use

Weigh your pet and choose the suitable pack size for your dog
After that make your dog stand in one place
Part the fur at the shoulder blades until the skin is visible
For small and medium dogs, one spot between the shoulder blades is enough
For larger dogs, apply at 3 to 4 spots across the backbone until the base of the tail
Place the tube on the skin and squeeze out the content until the tube is empty
Allow the solution to dry and do not touch the treated area until it dries
Make sure your pet doesn't lick the applied area

Q. How does Advantage Multi topical for Dogs work?

The two active ingredients of this product are Imidacloprid and Moxidectin. After being bitten by a mosquito, your dog may have young heartworms in their system. Moxidectin eliminates these immature heartworms before they can evolve into adult heartworms. It also works well as a dewormer, eliminating three intestinal worms from your pet's intestines by paralysing their nerve systems. Conversely, fleas are quickly killed when they come into contact with Imidacloprid, which penetrates the skin of fleas and damages its nerve system, killing it. So the fleas are killed without even having to bite or sucking blood from your pet.

Shampooing or water immersion 4 days after treatment does not reduce the effectiveness of Advantage Multi for Dogs

You should apply Advantage Multi for Dogs monthly (every 30 days), all year-round.

Q. What if I miss an Advantage Multi for Dogs heartworm treatment?

If you forget or miss a dose, simply treat your dog immediately. It kills immature heartworms that may already be in your dog and continues to prevent future infection by killing newly acquired baby worms throughout the month. After a single dose, if you forget and go more than 30 days in between treatments, just treat immediately and resume your monthly schedule.
