Credelio Chewable Tablet for Small Dogs (Pink)

CREDELIO flea and tick treatment for dogs is a tasty beef-flavored chew that treats and controls fleas and ticks. The oral monthly treatment kills fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) within 12 hours and controls tick infestations of Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick) and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick). The effective treatment can be given to puppies more than 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 6 lbs.

Credelio tablets are made with meat flavoring containing pork liver and soy, but not beef.

Can Credelio for Dogs used in cats?

No, any product that is labeled for use in dogs should not be given to cats. There is a separate product for cats known as Credelio CAT.

What should I do if I miss giving a monthly dose of Credelio to my dog?

Credelio should be administered monthly. If a dose is missed, administer it with food and resume a monthly dosing schedule from that date on.

Credelio Flea & Tick Treatment

The active ingredient Lotilaner is an ectoparasiticide from isoxazoline group. Lotilaner inhibits insect and acarine gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels. This blocks the transfer of chloride ions across cell membranes, which results in uncontrolled neuromuscular activity leading to the death of insects and acarines.
