Sentinel for Medium Dog

Sentinel for 11-25 lbs dogs is a highly effective treatment that protects against fleas as well as various worm infestations. The oral formula comes with a tasty liver flavor which does not allow fleas to grow. Given on a monthly basis, Sentinel tabs protect against heartworm infections, and eliminate hookworm, roundworm, and whipworm infections.

Sentinel Green for dogs contains lufenuron, and milbemycin oxime. Lufenuron works as an insect growth regulator that prevents flea eggs from hatching and controls flea populations. Other ingredient, milbemycin oxime eliminates immature stages of heartworm larvae and prevents heartworm infestations and protects against various intestinal worms such as roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.

How To Use

Before purchasing the product, weigh your dog.
Administer Sentinel on a monthly basis on the same day of each month on a yearly basis.

Sentinel and Heartgard Plus are formulated differently and contain different active ingredients; hence their mode of action is different from one another. However, both Sentinel and Heartgard Plus prevent heartworm disease as well as treat and control intestinal worm infections.

Q. Is Sentinel good for my dog?

Sentinel Heartworm Chews are vet-recommended, multi-parasitic treatment for dogs. It protects against both internal and external parasites for a complete month. Plus, the tasty liver-flavor formula is readily accepted by dogs of all ages.

Q. Will Sentinel deworm my dog?

Sentinel flavor tablet for dogs prevents heartworm infections. Also, this monthly treatment effectively treats and controls various gastrointestinal worm infections including, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.

Q. My dog is not taking Sentinel. Is there any other way I can use Sentinel on him?

Sentinel should be given orally. If the dog is not taking it directly by mouth, alternatively, Sentinel can be administered by hiding it in the dog’s food.

Q. Does Sentinel kill ticks?

Sentinel flavor tabs for dogs are not known to protect against ticks.

Can this drug cause abdominal cavity edema? My Maltese has developed edema twice. Both times were shortly after administration of sentinel. However she has taken it for 5 years without problems.
