Dermcare Otoflush Ear Flush for Dogs

Otoflush is an easy-to-use ear flush, formulated to keep canine ears clean and healthy. It maintains aural hygiene by cleaning the ear canal of wax, exudate and debris. This pH-neutral buffered solution reduces bacterial as well as yeast infections in the ear and does not sting even raw ulcerated canine ears.

Otoflush for dogs can be used as an effective pre-treatment ear flush. It is ideal to be used as a pre-treatment to improve the penetration of and increase the bacterial vulnerability to antibiotic ear treatments recommended for treating otitis externa in dogs. This formula can be used as a rinsing solution for clinical ear cleaning and flushing procedures.

How To Use

Remove the cap of the flush nozzle and insert the nozzle into the ear canal opening.
Squeeze the bottle to fill the ear canal.
Massage the ear gently and let the dog shake their head to remove excess liquid and debris out from the ear.
To ensure complete cleaning, repeat this procedure until the liquid coming out of the ear is clean.
Wipe out debris and liquid with cotton gauze and clean the flush nozzle before replacing the cap.
To maintain an ear cleaning routine, redo this process once a week.
Consult a vet for use in conjunction with an antibiotic ear treatment.
In case of an active ear infection, use in conjunction with antibiotic treatment.
When using with an antibiotic ear treatment, repeat this process twice daily for a maximum of one week or as indicated by the vet.
Otoflush may be used in Canine Otitis Externa where the ear drum is ruptured under vet directions.

Dosing:

Administer approximately 0.5ml for small breed dogs and 1.5ml for larger breed dogs

Safety

For dog use only. Do not use in any other animals.
Do not exceed the recommended quantity.
Extended daily use may result in tissue overhydration and may retard healing of the tympanic membrane.
Determine ear drum status before using if possible and treat Otitis Media if needed.
Wash hands after use.
Store below 30°C, at room temperature. Store upright in a dry, safe place.
Keep away from the reach of children, pets and uninformed people.
Dispose of empty containers by wrapping in paper and placing in the garbage.
In case of poisoning, contact a vet.
